Who in the world came up with this shit and figured "yeah, this will be a fun addition to poe". you cant kill them, you cant use a decoy totem or some such on them, they can spawn in ridiculous numbers if they come from a blue pack and they do a SHIT TON of damage. Those heralding minions pylons is the worst thing to have happened to this game ever. They always were, they are just ignoring that to justify a nerf and pretend that we won’t notice.
Like how they justified the good harvest crafts being deleted by the idea that they are now tradeable. They have not been communicating well to the playerbase, and a lot of what they say feels like attempts to dodge the real issue at hand. That’s not good communication, that’s ignoring the pain that the majority of the more casual (and even some hardcore) playerbase is feeling. Yes they have gone about explaining the situation a bit by now, but that doesn’t change that loot is fundamentally different in this patch, and Chris keeps standing by it going “but it’s definitely okay, look at these few people getting tons of loot”.
And if you give people clear information, not just ‘there was a substantial change to loot’ with no actual numbers or data, they tend to be pretty okay with it.
